John Vilade holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University in Waco, TX.
He actively serves on several Boards at Baylor University, including the Board of Advocates for the College of Arts and Sciences and The Hankamer School of Business Innovation Council.
John is a former advisor to 6P Color, Inc.
Dr. Bogdanowicz's extensive background in color science and imaging technology significantly contributes to his role at 6P Color. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1972 and began his career at Eastman Kodak in 1974. During his 32-year tenure at Kodak, he served as a Senior Research Fellow, focusing on systems modeling, photographic simulation, computer algorithms, color perception, and color reproduction. His expertise in designing and analyzing filters and special lighting techniques earned him two Technical Achievement Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
After retiring from Kodak in 2006, Dr. Bogdanowicz founded MJB Consulting, where he continued to provide his expertise in color science to the motion picture industry. His contributions include developing algorithms for digital camera applications and creating systems for 3D Look-Up Table (LUT) generation used in post-production. He also designed the Kodak Look Management System (KLMS) for pre-visualization in motion picture systems and was instrumental in developing the Kodak Display Manager (KDM) and Kodak Preview System.
At 6P Color, Dr. Bogdanowicz applies his deep understanding of color science to develop and refine the company's FCR technology. His extensive experience in color perception and reproduction is crucial in creating a system that expands digital displays beyond the traditional RGB color space, allowing for more natural and realistic visual experiences. His leadership in this area is instrumental in 6P Color's mission to revolutionize digital color imagery across various industries, including filmmaking, live production, gaming, and medical imaging.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bogdanowicz has been recognized for his contributions to the field of color science. He holds over 58 U.S. patents and numerous foreign patents related to photographic processes, with the majority pertaining to the motion picture industry. His accolades include two Technical Achievement Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the 2000 Technicolor Kalmus Gold Medal Award, and being named a Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
Dr. Bogdanowicz's extensive experience and pioneering work in color science make him a pivotal figure in advancing 6P Color's innovative technologies, driving the company toward new horizons in digital color reproduction.
During his tenure at Baylor University, Dr. Brantley played a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic research and market applications. As the Director of Technology Commercialization and Industry Engagement, he helped spearhead initiatives like the Lab to Market (L2M) Collaborative, which focused on transitioning university-developed technologies into the marketplace. He was instrumental in the creation of startup companies, including 6P Color, Inc.
Dr. Brantley also co-founded Brazos Innovation Partners, a deep-tech business accelerator that supports the commercialization of advanced technologies. Through this initiative, he has worked to create a robust ecosystem of solutions for driving the development of scalable technology companies in industries ranging from aerospace/defense, medical, green tech, to digital media.
Since joining the leadership team at 6P Color, the company has made significant strides in developing and implementing its Full Color Range™ technology through a cohesive color management system strategy. Originally conceived under a research project at Baylor University, this groundbreaking system is now being commercialized in various fields and applications - including space imagery, digital streaming, and gaming.
Dr. Brantley's expertise in guiding technological innovations from concept to commercialization has been essential in advancing 6P Color's mission to redefine digital imaging standards. His leadership continues to drive the company's efforts to provide unprecedented viewing experiences across multiple industries, including filmmaking, live production, gaming, and medical imaging.
Scaglione's extensive background in marketing and business development within the consumer electronics industry positions him well for this role. At Sharp Electronics, he served as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the management and communication of the Sharp brand across all consumer and business-to-business product lines. He was instrumental in building demand in the consumer product segment.
Following his tenure at Sharp, Scaglione held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Channel at OwnerIQ, where he was responsible for driving the adoption of advertising solutions among key industry verticals, including manufacturers, retailers, and buying groups.
Scaglione's experience also includes serving as a buyer for Abraham & Straus, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the retail landscape. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Scranton.
In addition to his professional roles, Scaglione has contributed to non-profit organizations, such as serving on the board of directors for illuminAid, a non-profit organization fighting world poverty through video technology.

Justin earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business with High Distinction and his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. His 14+ years of consulting experience at KPMG and Grant Thornton have honed his proficiency in business and intangible asset valuation, working with clients across industries on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and tax structuring. His client portfolio spanned start-ups to public companies with a strong focus on early-stage ventures with nascent technologies and evolving business models.
At KPMG, Justin undertook consecutive rotations in the national office—working with the Department of Professional Practice and Washington National Tax—and served as one of ten voting members on KPMG’s Valuation Services Technical Committee. He led global initiatives to develop and standardize valuation models and authored technical guidance for complex engagements.
In addition to his role at 6P Color, Justin serves as an Investment Principal at WAVE Ventures, where he oversees due diligence for early-stage technology investments. His financial and investment acumen supports 6P Color’s groundbreaking Full Color Range™ (FCR) system, which redefines digital display technology by reproducing the full spectrum of colors perceivable by the human eye.
DeFilippis is recognized as a foremost authority on advanced broadcast media technologies, having been at the forefront of developments in emerging media technologies such as immersive 3D audio, ultra-high-definition, high dynamic range, and high frame rate formats.
His tenure at major broadcasting networks, including Fox/News Corp. and ABC, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the technical and operational aspects of media production and distribution. At Fox, he was instrumental in the network's transition to digital broadcasting, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhanced broadcast quality and viewer experience.
In his role at 6P Color, DeFilippis leverages his extensive experience to ensure that the company's innovations are both forward-thinking and compatible with current industry standards. His leadership in product development is instrumental in driving 6P Color's mission to revolutionize digital color imagery across various platforms.
Throughout his career, DeFilippis has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including co-chairing the 6P Color program with Baylor University senior research scientist Gary Mandle as part of the SMPTE+ Series, where he moderated discussions about the limits of the RGB color system.
